Returns & Cancellation Policy

(Version 2025-1, Effective May 2025)


1. General Return Policy

Aquilare Group Inc. (“Paloma Editions,” “we,” “us,” “our”) produces and supplies made-to-order furniture and objects crafted to the specifications of each Client (“you”). Due to the highly customized, made-to-order nature of our Products, all sales are final once an order is confirmed, and thus we are unable to accept returns, exchanges, or cancellations once production of a Product has commenced, except where allowed by this Returns & Cancellation Policy, or where required by the applicable consumer law.


Clients are encouraged to review all order details carefully, including dimensions, material selections, finishes, production lead times and shipping lead times prior to confirming their purchase. Our Client Care team is available to assist with any questions during the ordering process to ensure that each selection is made with confidence.


2. Cancellation Prior to Production

If you wish to cancel an order, written notice must be provided to contact@palomaeditions.com within 48 hours of the Order Confirmation date. Cancellations requested after this period cannot be accepted, unless where required by the applicable consumer law. Upon timely cancellation, any payment received will be refunded less any non-recoverable costs, including but not limited to administrative and processing expenses incurred by us, and the cost of any Client-specified materials or components procured specifically for the order.

Once the production of a Product has begun, the order is deemed irrevocable, and no refunds, exchanges, or modifications can be accommodated.

3. Damages and Defects

Upon receipt of your delivery, it is the responsibility of the Client or their agent to inspect all Products for damage caused in-transit in accordance with Section 8 of our Shipping & Delivery Policy.

If a Product arrives damaged, the Client must submit a claim to us at contact@palomaeditions.com within the timeframes specified in, and in accordance with Section 8 of our Shipping & Delivery Policy, except where a longer timeframe is required by the applicable consumer law.

We reserve the right to inspect and verify any claimed damages before a resolution is offered. Minor or natural variations in color, grain, texture, and finish inherent to natural materials, as well as slight dimensional tolerances related to hand craftsmanship, shall not constitute damage or defects as in accordance with Section 13 of our Terms of Service.

A Product will be deemed defective if it does not function as intended in accordance with the product specifications or instructions, under normal use conditions and within the guidelines of proper care. Any defects must be ascertained by the Client and reported to contact@palomaeditions.com within 72 hours, except where a longer timeframe is required by the applicable consumer law.

We will expressly notify the customer of our acceptance of their claim of a damaged or defective Product via email.

We may opt to either repair or replace (at our discretion) a Product that is delivered with minor damage or minor defects. We will determine that a Product has minor damage or minor defects at our discretion on the basis of its overall condition and repairability. If a product can be repaired to its original intended condition, we may choose to do so at no cost to you.

If we elect to replace the damaged or defective Product, we will arrange for the damaged or defective Product to be returned to us at our expense. Once we have received the damaged or defective Product, and subject to availability and normal production and shipping lead times, we will re-ship the replacement Product to you at our expense.

You must return the product in the same condition in which you received it. You have a legal obligation to take reasonable care of the product whilst it is in your possession.

After making reasonable efforts to procure a replacement, if we are not able to fulfill the replacement order due to supply chain, availability or other constraints, we will refund the Client in full, including any shipping and handling fees. We cannot guarantee the availability of any product.

If a Client fails to notify Paloma Editions within the specified timeframe, the goods shall be deemed accepted without condition, except where a longer notice period is required by the applicable consumer law.

4. Non-Returnable and Non-Refundable Items


All products ordered from Paloma Editions are considered final sale and non-returnable due to their bespoke nature, unless the product is eligible for return in accordance with this Returns & Cancellation Policy or under the applicable consumer law. This includes all custom or specified furniture, objects, prototypes, special-order materials, and personalized pieces. Gift cards, if offered, are also non-refundable and non-redeemable for cash.

5. Refusal of Delivery

Refusal of delivery for any reason other than verified damage or defect constitutes unauthorized cancellation. In such cases, the client remains fully liable for the full cost of the product, original shipping charges, any applicable return shipping fees, storage fees, customs clearance costs, and related expenses.


6. Modifications and Amendments

Paloma Editions reserves the right to modify or update this Return and Cancellation Policy at any time without prior notice. Any changes will be effective immediately upon posting on our website. Clients are encouraged to review the policy periodically for updates.
